Camino represents both a personal and artistic journey through over two centuries of Spanish violin and piano repertoire, curated by the Duo Delibes—sisters Esther and Sara Gutiérrez. Prompted by international inquiries regarding their musical heritage, the duo's extensive research uncovers a rich, often unrecorded tradition that transcends simplistic stylistic categories. The album spans Federico Mosquera’s contemporary Metamorfosis, Andrés Gaos’s late-Romantic Sonata, José Palomino’s eighteenth-century classical Duetto, and Luis de los Cobos’s reflective Nana del Campo Grande, which directly references the sisters' hometown of Valladolid. Ultimately, this collection forms a nuanced musical path defined by memory, migration, and historical rediscovery.

Comprising sisters Esther and Sara Gutiérrez from Valladolid, Spain, Duo Delibes is a chamber ensemble dedicated to presenting the rich, extensive repertoire for violin and piano. Since their 2010 professional debut at the Miguel Delibes Auditorium, they have performed across Europe at venues in Germany, France, Austria, and the Netherlands, alongside appearances at prestigious festivals like the Santander International Music Festival. Award-winning graduates with top honors from elite institutions including the Mozarteum Salzburg and Codarts Rotterdam, the duo has secured numerous foundation grants. Currently, Sara teaches at Codarts, while Esther serves as sub-principal first violin in the Baden-Baden Philharmonic.
