Bending Space, Crossing Time is an innovative digital-only live album featuring Duo Amal, comprising Palestinian pianist Bishara Haroni and Israeli pianist Yaron Kohlberg, performing across continents to promote peace through art. Utilizing Steinway’s Spiriocast technology, the performance synced Kohlberg playing in Jerusalem to a Limited Edition Steinway piano in Los Angeles, where Haroni accompanied him on an original 1877 Centennial Grand. The release also includes a performance where Haroni played live alongside Glenn Gould’s legendary playing, reproduced via the Spirio system. This project bridges 146 years of instrument history and geographic division, creating a uniquely synchronized cross-cultural musical collaboration.

Renowned Israeli pianist Yaron Kohlberg (b. 1983) studied at Tel Aviv University under Luisa Yoffe, Eitan Globerson, and Arie Vardi, graduating with distinction in 2009. Dubbed "the pianist with the golden hands," he has won ten international competitions and performed across five continents at premier venues including Carnegie Hall, the Kremlin, and the Kennedy Center. Kohlberg has featured as soloist with major global ensembles like the Cleveland Orchestra and the Israel Philharmonic, and his discography includes recordings of Schumann and Beethoven on labels like Aulicus. Currently based in China, he balances international concertizing and masterclasses with multilingual educational outreach.

Nazareth-born pianist Bishara Haroni completed his training under Esther Balasha, Eitan Globerson, and Arie Vardi at the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien Hannover. As an acclaimed soloist and chamber musician, he has collaborated with world-renowned conductors including Lorin Maazel, Gianandrea Noseda, Zubin Mehta, and Daniel Barenboim, performing alongside leading ensembles such as the London Philharmonic and Israel Philharmonic. Haroni has presented recitals in prestigious venues like Carnegie Hall—notably stepping in for Murray Perahia—and regularly performs at top chamber festivals alongside prominent artists and principal players from the Berlin Philharmonic.
