Marcelo Balat is an Argentine pianist born in 1983 who has established a distinguished international career as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral performer. He began his musical training in Córdoba and continued advanced studies at the Reina Sofía School of Music, where he received top honors under Galina Egyazarova. A laureate of numerous national and international piano competitions, he has performed in major venues such as Teatro Colón, the National Auditorium of Music in Madrid, and the Konzerthaus Berlin, and has collaborated with leading artists including Martha Argerich. He has appeared with prominent orchestras across Argentina and Europe, and currently serves as Principal Piano and Celesta Soloist of the National Symphony Orchestra of Argentina while also working as an educator and academic director.
