Created during the isolation of lockdown and inspired by an invitation to Halle, Handel’s birthplace, the project blends Baroque tradition with modern musical expression to engage audiences across generations. Drawing inspiration from Handel’s celebrated suites, minuets, and the iconic Water Music, Ponty reshapes the original material with her own distinctive style, offering an intimate and accessible fusion of historical repertoire and contemporary creativity.

Clara Ponty is a classically trained pianist, vocalist, and composer whose work blends classical, jazz, pop, and crossover influences into a distinctive musical style. Born in Paris and raised in Los Angeles, she is the daughter of celebrated jazz violinist Jean-Luc Ponty and began studying piano and violin at the age of five. After graduating from the University of Southern California, she launched an international career with acclaimed albums including Clara Ponty, The Embrace, Mirror of Truth, and Into the Light. Her music is noted for its emotional depth, lyrical imagination, and genre-defying creativity, combining virtuosic piano performance with reflective compositions and contemporary influences.
