Julian Lloyd Webber has released Take a Bow through Decca Classics to celebrate his 75th birthday. The collection features recordings spanning more than four decades, alongside a new orchestral work, Jasmine, named after his daughter and marking his first studio recording in 12 years. The release coincides with his autobiography, Bows and Arrows, and his return to live performance at Wigmore Hall in support of the music education charity Music Masters. Lloyd Webber’s return follows his 2014 retirement due to injury, with “Jasmine” serving as a deeply personal catalyst for performing again.
